Description
A quick universal spool weight to keep rolls in the AMS settled when filament is low for X and P series AMS. One has sides that are 60mm circles and the other 80MM. This provides some flexibility depending on your spool type/brand. Enjoy!

Makers beware:
These weight containers are way too long (8,7cm) for standard spools in the AMS. 4 spool weights won't even fit next to each other in the AMS, which has only 34.4cm of space, 4x8.7= 34.8cm.
Maybe there is some other nice use for the weights, but for me this model was largely just a waste of time and filament.

thanks for the feedback. they will fit side to side in the AMS, it depends where your spool sits. spool weights should only be used when the spool is already low. I am happy to add a smaller one if you would find that helpful, otherwise just cut out some of it in the slicer before you print that avoids the threaded area. happy to help if you need something more specific.

what do you use for weight? is it about 500gr?

I typically shoot for 250-300g, enough to keep the spool down but not add a lot of extra drag if starting with a new spool. Hope that helps!
