I printed the studs at an angle to increase the layer contact to increase strength and scaled the caps to 107%. The studs feels more than strong enough to hold my network equipments.

first model of RackStuds who are pratical and solid. I have juste changed the material for ABS with an infill of 30% for more solidity.

Strength Issue:Thank you for your design. I printed with PETG and tried to print the studs multiple times, in total eight studs were printed and only one survived, the others broke right away from the plate. Not sure where the problem is, the one survived seems quite strong though. (Tried printing it both default and side way positions but neither worked)

Support Issue:The threads on the studs did not work at all. The raft support seems to have destroyed the thread profile

i printed a few in petg, not bad, not great. a redesign to print the studs on their side would solve one issue i had. (twisted apart) and the thumb nuts are a bit big to use in adjacent slots unless the cutouts are aligned vertically.

quite hard to fit, the spring always broke away, even when just removing the supports
