What is the point of this? Without feeders / motors and any kind of interface with the printer how can this be an AMS? It's a nice design but I don't see any way it could actually function. A little more of a description would be nice.

This is essentially a Manual Material System, you just store your 4x preferred filament colours in the spool holders on top of the storage drawers.
Its designed so the spools are seated on the storage drawers and the spool won't jump out when the filament runs low. The force from the filament is pulled downwards and out the back which is how the spool remains in position while in use.
(Its also aesthetically designed so users have an option that looks nice on their bench top) I hope this helps

Does this modify/ replace the AMS light? Or what does it do? Looks interesting enough :)

thank you for your feedback. I will add a few images of my finished prints. All my other designs have the final print photos I just haven’t added these ones yet. 😊
