Ribbed Japandi Bathroom Trash Can – Swing-Top Lid

Bring a clean Japandi touch to an everyday essential. This compact bathroom trash can combines a finely ribbed body with smooth top and bottom sections, creating a modern design that fits beautifully into both minimalist and cozy interiors.

Designed primarily as a bathroom trash can, it is also a practical choice for the kitchen, office, bedroom, or craft room.

The swing-top lid opens easily in either direction. A weighted section on its underside acts as a counterbalance, automatically returning the lid to its centered closed position after use.

A small trash bag can be easily fitted and securely held in place beneath the removable top cover.

Simple Three-Part Assembly

The trash can consists of just three printed parts: the main body, the swing lid, and the top collar.

1. Place the two pivot tabs of the swing lid into the matching recesses at the top of the main body.
2. Slide the top collar over the main body until it is fully seated. The collar securely captures the pivot tabs and keeps the lid in position while allowing it to swing freely.

No screws, glue, or additional hardware are required.

Printing

All three parts print completely without supports. A ready-to-use print profile is included.

• Main body and top collar: 2 walls, 5% Gyroid infill
• Swing lid: 2 walls, 25% Gyroid infill

The higher infill of the swing lid is intentional: it gives the weighted underside enough mass to return the lid reliably to its closed position.
