Tested Print Settings (Recommendations): The fine definition of the individual suction cups, the organic texture of the mantle, and the horizontal alignment of the shelf deck were successfully verified using matte black PLA, as featured in the file Gemini_Generated_Image_jcnlpjjcnlpjjcnl.png.

• Infill: Successfully printed at 10% (gyroid pattern) for a standard decorative display setup. Load-Bearing Pro-Tip: Because the cantilevered shelf relies on the lower curving tentacles for leverage support, if you intend to hold heavier objects like thick books or glass bottles, we advise boosting the infill rate to 25-30% and running 5 wall loops (perimeters) to heavily reinforce the main tentacle joints.
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Supports: Well-placed tree supports are required beneath the looping lower tentacles, under the central overhanging head profile, and along the cantilevered bottom edge of the shelf tray.

Sizing Information: The model features balanced, eye-catching proportions optimized to serve as a striking point of focus on narrow walls, columns, or near study desks. Please feel free to freely resize the model inside your slicing software to custom-tailor the display tray width to your exact storage or wall space requirements.

INFORMATION:

A common question is: why do these prints require supports when they could be printed lying flat?

For my designs, I deliberately choose to print them standing upright rather than flat, in order to achieve the best possible level of detail. I prioritize visual quality over saving a few grams of filament.

Of course, you are free to change the print orientation in your slicer if you prefer.
