Description

Feed the Dino – match the color sequence! 🦖

An interactive Montessori-style toy for toddlers: the back spikes show the order in which the chips need to be fed. Drop them into the open mouth, watch them roll through the body, and check the belly window to see if your sequence is correct.

How it works:
Chips drop through the mouth into an internal channel and roll down to the oval viewing window on the belly — instantly showing whether your order matches the spike sequence. To empty it, just press the rearmost spike: a built-in spring mechanism releases the channel, and all chips roll safely into the catch-tray in the base.

Assembly Instructions (see below):

  1. Place the base platform flat on the table.
  2. Lay the dinosaur's back panel flat on the table, holes facing up.
  3. Insert the spring mechanism into the designated channel, pressing it in gently until it sits flush.
  4. Place the front cover panel on top and press the pins into the holes.
  5. Insert the assembled dinosaur body into the base platform.
  6. Attach the spike-strip onto the back.
  7. Done — drop in the chips and start playing!

Stable base with catch-tray:
The dino stands securely on an oval base platform with a built-in tray that catches released chips and doubles as handy chip storage between rounds.

One part, five color sequences:
The spike-strip combines all five different sequences in a single printed piece — no need to swap parts for variety.

Encourages:
Color recognition, sequence memory, fine motor skills, cause-and-effect understanding.

Kid-friendly design:
Every part is designed with rounded corners and edges throughout — large, easy-to-grip pieces, perfect even for little hands.

Tool-free assembly:
No screws, no tools needed — all parts simply press-fit together and hold securely on their own.

Efficiently engineered:
Color comes only from the outer layers, significantly reducing filament use compared to fully colored parts. The entire model is designed to work with just 4 AMS colors each plate, with no extra filament swaps required.

Included:
Three print plates (front and back panel with integrated chip channel, plus base platform with catch-tray), spike-strip with all five color sequences, spring-release mechanism.

Have fun ! :)
