Print Profile(2)

Description
Brick Baseplate - WW1 Trench or Riverbed
Are you looking to build an epic World War I battlefield diorama or a peaceful countryside landscape for your brick displays? This custom 3D-printable baseplate offers the best of both worlds!
Designed with versatility in mind, this dual-purpose baseplate can serve as a muddy, sunken WW1 trench system for your troops or a winding riverbed flowing through your custom builds.
🧱 Key Features
- Dual-Theme Versatility: Perfect for historical military dioramas (WW1/WW2 trenches) or natural terrain (rivers, valleys, waterfalls).
- Multi-Level Snap: Whether your bricks are placed at the bottom of the trench/river or up on the raised banks, every single stud is 100% aligned with the standard brick grid. No awkward angles or misaligned studs!
- AMS & Single-Extruder Friendly: Easily print with dual colors (e.g., muddy brown/gray for trenches, or blue water and green banks) using an AMS, or simply add a color pause at the designated layer height.
- Filament Optimized: Designed to be sturdy while keeping filament consumption low (works great with just 5% infill).
⚙️ Fitting & Tolerances (XY Expansion)
Every 3D printer, nozzle, and filament type (PLA, Matte, PETG) behaves slightly differently. If standard bricks feel too tight or too loose when snapping onto the studs:
- Too Tight? In Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer, go to the Quality tab and set XY Contour Expansion to a small negative value (e.g., -0.05mm or -0.1mm).
- Too Loose? Set XY Contour Expansion to a small positive value (e.g., +0.05mm).
💡 Not sure about your printer's tolerances? Try my Brick Stud Calibration "Clutch Power" Test before launching a full print!
