Print the box upright.

The lid is already generated upside down, with the flat top placed on the build plate and the open side facing upward.

Tolleranza del coperchio

The default snap-fit clearance is 0.30 mm.

Depending on your printer and material:

  • increase the clearance if the lid is too tight
  • reduce the clearance if the lid is too loose

Suggested test values:

  • Tight fit: 0.20–0.25 mm
  • Standard fit: 0.30 mm
  • Loose fit: 0.35–0.45 mm

PETG is generally more flexible and may tolerate a tighter snap fit than rigid PLA.
