Description
3D Printed Rocket, (Cone, Launch guide and Fines Only). Use with paper towel role for main body, some paper towel roles may vary in size. I used an 11-inch role with a 42.2mm inner diameter. Diameter of the fin and cone insert is 42.2mm. You will need to purchase a model rocket launch pad to launch safely, and a launch controller… The cone prints with 2 walls @ 35% cubic infill, and the Stabilizing fins print with 2 walls with 0% infill. This is so that the rocket will have the Center of gravity ahead of center of pressure to fly correctly. altering this can change flight pattern.
Some instructions.
- Tape the fins to the paper towel role
- Tape the launch pad guide to the middle of the paper towel role.
- If you plan to use a parachute due not tape the cone. That way it cone may be ejected to deploy the chute.
- Use in clear areas away from people, vehicles and buildings.
