Scandi-Style Fluted Pendant & Sconce Set

Transform your IKEA STRÅLA lamp base into a crisp, modern architectural highlight.

This set of custom 3D printed shades introduces a refined Scandinavian aesthetic through sharp, repetitive vertical fluting. The pleated, diamond-inspired profile catches shadows beautifully when off, and diffuses light into a soft, textured ambient glow when illuminated. A simple fixture becomes a premium design piece.

The shape blends strict geometric structure with warm Nordic minimalism.

🎨 Filament Recommendations

Recommended: 👉 Bambu PLA Wood Also tested: PLA Matte Ivory White

Both work beautifully to highlight the crisp edges of the fluted ridges, but Bambu Wood adds a more natural, organic diffused glow and a high-end tactile feel.

Print profiles included for 0.4 mm nozzle.

🔧 Assembly

Pendants (Cone & Cylinder)

Tool-free, modular twist-lock system. You only need to print the adapter once per fixture.

1. Secure the socket → insert your IKEA STRÅLA lamp holder into the printed Cylinder Socket Adapter, then lock it from the top using the original STRÅLA plastic retaining ring.
2. Align the shade → line up the tabs at the base of the adapter with the locking ring built into the bottom of the shade.
3. Twist to lock → turn clockwise until it clicks snugly into place.

Wall Sconce

1. Mount the back plate → fix the printed plate to the wall.
2. Fit the light source → install it into the plate before attaching the shade.
3. Attach the shade → slide the fluted half cone onto the plate until it seats flush against the wall.

⚠️ A Note About Print Settings

Print settings instructions will not be included here in the description.
