Get ready for some Ghibli magic on your desk! This is a fully articulated, print-in-place model of everyone's favorite forest spirit, My Neighbor Totoro.
Designed with flexibility in mind, this Totoro can wiggle, bend, and sit in a very satisfying way. It makes for a perfect fidget toy for kids and adults alike, or a charming decoration for any anime fan.
I recommend printing him in grey PLA with a different color (like white or cream) for the belly area if you have an AMS, though he looks great in a single color too!
🖨️ Recommended Print Profile
To ensure the joints print perfectly and moving smoothly, I have uploaded a finely-tuned print profile. Please use the attached "0.16mm Optimal Flexi" profile for best results.
Key settings in the profile:
- Layer Height: 0.12-16mm (crucial for better quality even a 0.2 nozzle improve so much quality).
- Infill: 5% (Gyroid recommended for strength).
- Walls: 2-3 walls for durability in the joints.
- Material: Works perfectly with PLA or PETG.
- Support: just for the ears!
