ASSEMBLY:

  • Apply a small dab of glue to one of the magnet slots in BASE B and insert the first magnet.
  • Once the glue has set, repeat with the second magnet.

    • Latching switch: Install the second magnet with the same magnetic orientation as the first.
    • Momentary switch: Reverse the magnet's orientation before gluing it in.

Hold the magnet in place for a few seconds while the glue grabs, as the magnets may try to pull each other out.

  • After the magnets have fully cured, place a small amount of glue in the centre of BASE B and attach BASE A on top. Hold the parts together for a few seconds until the glue begins to set.
  • Place BUTTON A onto BASE A (making sure BASE B is facing down). Add a small drop of glue to the magnet recess and insert the third magnet. The magnets already installed in the base will naturally pull it into the correct orientation.
  • Once the magnet is secure, apply a small drop of glue to the top of BUTTON A and attach BUTTON B. Hold it in place for a few seconds until the glue sets.
  • Finally, slide the CASING over the assembled button and base. It is designed as an interference fit and should lock into place using the small retaining lip on BASE B.
