World of Warcraft Topographic Map – Kalimdor & Eastern Kingdoms

Bring Azeroth to your walls! This project recreates the iconic continents of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms as an enormous, highly detailed 3D topographic wall display. Every mountain range, valley, coastline, and landmark has been converted into real elevation, creating a unique piece of wall art that looks fantastic from every angle. The entire piece fits in a whopping 51" x 51" frame! Keyhole slots are included for ease of wall-mounting.

Printing Instructions:

I recommend printing with a maximum layer height of 0.12mm to preserve some of the finer details. I used BambuLab Matter PLA in Bone White. Enable supports for the alignment cylinders which protrude from the sides of most pieces.

Assembly Instructions:

1. Slot the printed pieces together according to the cylindrical connectors, adding super glue as-needed.

2. (Optional) Run a soldering iron across the seams to weld them together to make them significantly less visible. Here's a guide on how to do this: 

    

    

Note: if you'd like to print a smaller version or a custom size, I've uploaded mini versions where each continent fits on one plate. These can be printed as-is, or scaled up to your desired size.
