Govee Controller Cover

I made this cover to give my Govee smart lights controller a little more protection from rain. It was designed from scratch around the specific controller shown in the photos, so make sure yours looks the same before printing.

Features:

• Helps shield the controller from rain and water coming from above
• Left-side opening lets the cable pass through at a downward angle, which should help stop water from following the cable into the cover
• Holds the controller in place while keeping the power button accessible
• Mounting holes at the top and bottom

Installation:

Mount it upright as shown in the photos, with the covered end at the top and the controller cable running out through the bottom. The side cable should pass through the opening on the left at a downward angle.

Important: This is only meant to be a rain cover/weather shield. It is not waterproof and does not have an official weather-resistance rating. It may help with normal rain coming from above, but it won’t protect against heavy or wind-driven rain, splashing from every direction, condensation, or being submerged.

If you want some additional protection, you could add a layer of cling film or another suitable covering around the controller before putting it inside. Just be careful not to trap water inside or wrap it in a way that could cause it to overheat.
