Description
After searching for a printable version of the Laughing Bonehead mask from the anime Let This Grieving Soul Retire, I couldn't find one anywhere. So, I decided to challenge myself and create it from scratch.
This is my first attempt at designing a model specifically for 3D printing, and it has been an incredible learning experience. I used Blender, with plenty of help from AI, to recreate the mask as closely as I could to its appearance in the anime while keeping it printable.
A few notes about the model:
- I printed mine in gray PLA and hand-painted the details afterward.
- The included color painting may need some adjustments if you plan to do a two-color print. Feel free to improve the paint assignment to better suit your printer or workflow.
- The model currently does not include eye holes. If you modify the design to add them, I'd love to see your version! Please let me know what changes you made—I'm still learning Blender and always looking to improve.
Since this is my very first 3D modeling project, I welcome constructive feedback and suggestions. If you print it, please upload your make and let me know how it turned out. Seeing other people's prints is one of the best parts of sharing models with the community.
