FLOW Plant Ring is a plant watering ring and self watering reservoir for pots, planters and houseplants.

Use it for vacation watering and everyday plant care: fill the ring for direct watering, or add a cotton wick for slow 7+ day watering in the tested 600 ml setup.

💧 Capacity

  • S: 300 ml per half, 600 ml full ring
  • M: 450 ml per half, 900 ml full ring
  • L: 600 ml per half, 1200 ml full ring
  • XL: 800 ml per half, 1600 ml full ring

🧵 Watering Modes

  • Direct drain: water drains through two small holes in about 30 minutes in the tested setup.
  • Wick watering: add cotton cord or yarn through the holes to slow the water release.
  • 7+ day watering: confirmed in the tested 600 ml wick setup. A small amount of water may remain after day 7 and continue watering slowly.

🧵 Wick Setup

  • Cut a piece of cotton cord or yarn.
  • Thread the wick through the two small holes in one reservoir half.
  • Leave both wick ends hanging down into the soil.
  • Fill the reservoir and check the flow before longer use.
  • Adjust wick thickness, length and soil contact to tune the water flow.

🛠️ How to Use

  • Place one half or two mirrored halves around the plant stem.
  • Let the parts stand directly on top of the soil.
  • For direct watering, fill the reservoir and let water drain through the holes.
  • For slow watering, thread a cotton wick through the holes before filling.
  • Adjust wick type, wick length and position for your plant and soil.

⚠️ Notes

Watering time depends on wick material, soil density, plant size, temperature, humidity and reservoir size.

Cotton wick, cord or yarn is not included. Use your own wick material and test the flow before leaving plants unattended for longer periods.
