Description

This is my solution to store my electronic components neatly. I've bought 2 small IKEA Moppe drawer cabinets and each drawer fits several gridfinity bins.

One drawer can fit up to 8 of my bins: a drawer fits 4x3 gridfinity base units (42mm) and fits 12 gridfinity height units (7mm). My bins are stackable and are only 2x3 base units. This means that for example 1 drawer can fit 4 bins of 2x3x3 and 3 bins of 2x3x4. There are 6 drawers in one Moppe cabinet and will give you a lot of storage and sorting capability.

My profile has several buildplates, each plate has 2 bins prepared. Each bin is 2x3 base unit, but per plate the separators and height differs. Available are:

  • 2x3x3 - 1x3 bins
  • 2x3x3 - 2x3 bins
  • 2x3x3 - 1x4 bins
  • 2x3x3 - 2x4 bins
  • 2x3x3 - 1x9 bins
  • 2x3x4 - 1x2 bins - notice these are heigher, only 3 can stack up in one drawer

I've added the labels I used in a pdf below, and left some blank to write on them yourself. Print them and glue them on the available tab of the bins.
