Description

Bulbasaur has always been one of my favorite starter Pokémon, so I wanted to create a version that was both fun to print and easy to assemble. This model is split into multiple parts, making it perfect for anyone with a standard FDM printer, no AMS required.

The assembled model stands at around 13 cm tall, making it a great size for a desk, shelf, or Pokémon display. Whether you print it in a single color, use different filaments for each part, or paint it afterward, it turns out great either way.

It will be challenging to find the right patches, make sure you use the pictures as reference.

🖨️ Printing Tips

  • Recommended height: ~13 cm
  • Layer height: 0.16–0.20 mm
  • Use Supports: On Build Plate Only where needed.
  • Set your seam position to the back for the cleanest finish.
  • If you're having trouble with bed adhesion, increase the brim width to around 0.8 mm.

🧩 Assembly

  • Test-fit all the parts before gluing.
  • I recommend using super glue for assembly.
  • If a joint feels a little tight, gently warm it with a heat gun or lighter before pushing it into place.
  • A quick pass with a file or fine sandpaper will clean up any support marks and help everything fit nicely.
