This head massager was designed to be printed in multiple parts to make printing easier and to provide flexible, comfortable massage arms.
Model contents
The model includes:
- 1 handle
- 6 large arms
- 6 small arms
After printing, the arms must be inserted into the handle to complete the assembly.
Assembly tips
Depending on your printer calibration and print settings, the small holes in the handle may require a little cleaning. I personally achieved the best fit by using a very small flat-head screwdriver to remove any remaining filament from the holes before inserting the arms.
This helps ensure:
- easier assembly,
- a secure fit,
- and a clean, durable final result.
Printing tips
For successful arm printing, make sure your print bed is perfectly clean and free of grease. A dirty or oily surface can cause the thin arms to lift or detach from the build plate during printing.
Recommended:
- clean the build plate before printing,
- avoid touching the surface with your fingers,
- and check the first layer carefully.
Final result
Once assembled, the massager works perfectly. The arms glide smoothly across the scalp and provide a relaxing, stimulating sensation. It creates the classic tingling, shiver-like feeling that spreads through the head and body, similar to a professional spa-style head massager.
