"Ultra Short SkimLink" – Compact Skimmer Adapter for maximum order at the pool

The "Ultra Short SkimLink" is an extremely short pool hose adapter that holds the skimmer much more stably at the edge of the pool. Due to the reduced hose freedom, the skimmer stays cleanly in position, wobbles less, and sits optimally guided at the edge. Ideal for pools where the hose would otherwise protrude disruptively into the water or push the skimmer out of position

Installation Process

• Positioning of the connection — The skimmer connection should be approximately 10 cm above the pool drain. This prevents the hose from kinking too much
• Align the skimmer — The skimmer is ideally positioned directly above the connection. This ensures stable guidance and less lateral play
• Shorten the pool hose — One end of the hose remains for the skimmer. The other end is cut to size and attached to the adapter.
  • The adapter is 1 mm smaller than the nominal size of the hose
  • The hose is pressed over the bead and thus sits firmly and tightly
  • Recommendation: It's better to cut a little too long – you can always shorten it later
• Connect the adapter — Connect the adapter to the pool thread D82
• Establish final position — Place the skimmer directly above the connection and install the hose without kinks

Alternative installation option: swap inlet and outlet

If the existing pool connection is too low or too high, the inlet and outlet at the pool can possibly simply be swapped. This allows the position of the skimmer adapter to be better adjusted to the individual pool height
