Fully Customizable (Parametric): Use the Customizer to fine-tune the model to your exact application. You have complete control over all relevant dimensions:
- Base Dimensions: Adjust the width (plug_width), length (plug_length), and height (plug_height) seamlessly.
- Durability & Fit: Define the wall thickness (wall_thickness) and corner radius (corner_radius) for an optimal fit.
- Clean Finish: The lip (Lip) can be adjusted in size, thickness, corner radius, and chamfer (Chamfer).
- Secure Grip: Integrated retention clips (clip_size) and flex slots (slot_size) ensure the plug snaps firmly into place and stays secure under load.
💡 Important Tip for Disabling Features: Need a completely simple plug without a lip, clips, or slots? No problem! To completely disable the lip (Lip), clips (Clip), or slots (Slot), simply enter a value of 0.001 for that parameter in the Customizer. This instantly transforms the model into a perfectly smooth, basic plug.
Printing Recommendations:
- Material: For plugs that need to be inserted and removed frequently, or where the clips need to flex, we highly recommend PETG for its durability and flexibility. Standard PLA works fine too, but the clips might be slightly more brittle.
- Supports: The design is optimized to print without any support structures in most configurations.
