Description

thin rip jig

designed to fit perfect to the Felder table saw CF531. You can cut from 0 to 50mm strips.

  • install the jig on the table saw with the big t-slot nut

  • move the front sled with the ball bearing so close to the saw blade till the bearing touches the blade

  • Now also move the rear slew to the front sled and insert a reference piece for the thickness (drill bit, original piece of wood,…)

  • tighten the screw of the rear sled.

  • remove the reference piece and move the front slew to the rear sled. Now also tighten the screw of the front sled.

  • now the gap between the blade and the ball bearing is excactly the thickness of your reference piece

  • use the parallel fence of the table saw to press the work piece against the ball bearing and cut the strips.
