Description

A 26mm spacer for the lid on an Eibos Cyclopes drybox. This allows you to route the filament through the spacer instead of the lid making the lid simple to remove. I truly hated the original design when using two spools.

 

BOM:

-printed spacer, must be printed in ABS/ASA to prevent warping when drybox is heating

-two M3 threaded inserts (Voron spec)

-two M3x8 screws

-two PC4-M10 pneumatic fittings

 

Two 3mm holes need to be drilled on the drybox if you wish to mount the spacer with screws. Not really necessary though :)

 

Fits on a Bambu print bed and prints beautifully in three hours.

easy peezy, i enjoyed, it and i paired it with the roller extenders as well. printed in Nylon.

Very nice! What are the extenders and what are they for? More clearance between the spool and heater/fan?

yeah so it doesn’t melt the filament instead of using a deflector

You are welcome. I also made some roller sleeves for larger spools (like a Fillament 2.5kg spool, to clear the thermistor) and a knob for the lid for easier one-handed removal. Let me know if you want to try them out too and I'll upload them :)
