Description

Bring the Force to Your Bedside! 🌌

Add a touch of a galaxy far, far away to your nightstand, desk, or gaming setup with this Star Wars-inspired desktop clock.

This model is designed to be a super straightforward, beginner-friendly print. Best of all, it is sized to fit the official Bambu Lab Clock Kit perfectly, so there's no guessing around with random hardware sizes.

🛠️ Hardware & Fit

This design is built around the standard Bambu Lab clock components:

  • Clock Mechanism Space: 57 mm * 57 mm (fits the Bambu clock kit perfectly)
  • Required Shaft Diameter: 9 mm
  • Required Shaft Length: Minimum 4 mm

🖨️ Print Settings

I designed this to be as hassle-free as possible. No tricky overhangs or annoying cleanups.

  • Supports: None!
  • Brims: Not needed (just make sure your bed is clean).
  • Multi-Color: This model is AMS compatible, but it's not needed
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid works great.
  • Wall Loops: 3 (for a clean finish around the clock cutout).

🧩 Assembly

  1. Test Fit: Slide your printed parts together first to make sure everything sits flush.
  2. Glue: Use a few drops of superglue (CA glue) to permanently join the main pieces together.
  3. Install the Clock: Push the Bambu clock mechanism through the back, secure it on the front with the included nut, and press-fit the clock hands.
  4. Pop in a battery, set the time, and you're good to go!
