VORTEX the mixer

Hi friends,

First things first: DO NOT USE IT WITH HOT DRINKS unless you print it using food-grade certified filaments having a very high softening point (such as food-grade nylon).

It’s a fun little tool, and I promise that once you use it for the first time, you’ll want to keep using it.

It’s hot these days, so cocktails, milkshakes, smoothies, iced coffee slushies, and many refreshing drinks become absolute must-haves.

Tired of the usual teaspoons and clear plastic stirrers, I proposed a series of these mixers to a friend who runs a local café.

I designed them by considering material elasticity, ease of rotation, and fluid dynamics—specifically how forces interact with geometric shapes.

The result is this little gadget: it mixes with surprising effectiveness and minimal effort.
