🖨️ Print Settings (Recommended)
To get the best result and a sturdy stick, please use the following settings:
- Filament: PLA / PLA+ (Any colors you like! Pink and white work best for the paw).
- Layer Height: 0.2mm (Standard) or 0.16mm (Optimal for smooth curves on the paw).
- Infill: 15% - 20% (Gyroid or Grid for extra strength).
- Walls/Perimeters: 3 walls (Highly recommended to make the pointer shaft sturdy and prevent snapping).
- Supports: No supports needed for the shaft. The paw tip might require minimal tree supports depending on your printer's bridging performance.
- Brim: A outer brim of 5mm is recommended for the long pointer shaft to prevent warping and ensure bed adhesion.
Note:
The pointer shaft can be resized directly in Bambu Studio under the "Objects" tab. The default length is 15cm (150mm), but you can easily scale it up or down to suit your preference.
Standard dimensions of the shaft:
- Diameter: 3.9 mm
- Length: 150 mm
🛠️ Assembly Instructions
(Note: Adjust this section if your design is Print-in-Place or screw-together)
- Print all the parts (Shaft and Cat Paw).
- Insert the shaft into the handle (press-fit or screw-in).
- Glue or snap the Cat Paw tip onto the top of the pointer.
