A parametric model to create desk leg risers to increase the overall height of a desk.

The width and depth may be specified which permits creation of risers for square and rectangular legs.

The clearance specified is added to all 4 sides of the leg to give some spacing. The default is given in good faith as a value that has worked well but it may need increasing for your printer/filament etc. It is advised that a test piece is printed first to ensure a good fit.

The heightIncrease is the overall increase in height of the desk.

The wallThickness is the thickness of the socket around the sides of the leg.

The socketHeight is the height of the socket created around the sides of the leg.

The model has two bodies, the riser base and the riser socket. It is recommended that the sparse infill of the riser base is high (perhaps even 100%) because this part will have to bear the entire weight of the desk at that leg.

Do get in touch if you have any ideas for changes or variations to the models.

I can also create Fusion 360 models that will become your property.
