About Plate 5

Plate 5 is the top cover for the MX mechanical keyboard switch.

If you are using LED mechanical switches, it is recommended to print Plate 5 with white or transparent filament so the LED light can shine through.

The holes in the Plate 5 model are intentionally bridged so the part can be printed without supports. After printing, simply remove the thin bridged material and open the holes using a hobby knife, drill bit, or similar tool.

Assembly Notes

The clearance of each part has been adjusted based on the designer's printer.

However, print tolerances vary between printers, filaments, and print settings. Some parts may fit more loosely than intended.

Parts that serve as locking or retaining components may become loose due to these tolerance differences. If necessary, secure these parts using a small amount of adhesive for a more reliable assembly.
