Description
This Illusion Fidget transforms simple rotation into a mesmerizing optical effect. As the inner wheels spin, the repeating curved pattern creates the illusion of flowing petals that seem to continuously expand, contract, and rotate in unexpected ways. It's a simple mechanism that produces a surprisingly hypnotic effect, making it both fun to watch and satisfying to use.
Before Printing
- Please clean the build plate before printing.
- If you are using the STL files, you will need to print:
- 2 Large Gears
- 2 Small Gears
- 1 main
- 1 cap
Assembly
In this video I show you how to assemble it:
Please note: The large gears have a specific orientation.
Place one of the large gears into the holder, as shown below.
Install the first small gear, making sure it meshes correctly with the large gear.
Install the second small gear, as shown below.
Place the second large gear on top, making sure it is oriented correctly as shown below.
- Press the top cover into place. This may require a bit of force, as it is designed to fit tightly.
- Your Illusion Fidget is now complete!
