UpSticks – The pool game that always lands on its feet! 🌊

UpSticks is a simple, fun pool game suitable for all ages

Each stick is equipped with a weight that allows it, once thrown into the water, to naturally position itself vertically at the bottom of the pool. The different colors and numbers allow for numerous game modes, also leaving room for custom rules

Game Modes

🎯 Points at the Bottom

Throw all UpSticks into the water and let them settle at the bottom

In turn, each player retrieves only one stick, trying to get the highest score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins

🎲 Color Challenge

Use the colored die included in the project

Before each turn, roll the die:

• retrieve only the UpStick of the color rolled
• if you pick the correct color, you get 1 point
• if you pick the wrong color, your turn ends without points (or apply your preferred rules)

A simple but very fun mode, especially when playing in a group

Printing

To ensure correct balance, the model includes an automatic pause during the printing of the weights

At this stage, you can insert an M8 nut (maximum thickness 6.4 mm) into each weight, which will act as ballast. Once inserted, simply resume printing to seal it completely

Important Notes

⚠️ The tubular part is intentionally lightweight and relatively delicate

It is designed exclusively for use in water and not to withstand impacts, throws on hard surfaces, or high stresses

For greater model durability, it is recommended to:

• use it exclusively in water
• avoid impacts against pavements or pool edges
• do not bend or crush the tube
