Upgrade your Multiboard wall with LED strips!
This snap-fit LED rail system is designed specifically for the MultiBoard ecosystem. Whether you want to light up your desk, illuminate your workspace tools, or build a complete glowing neon frame around your entire board, this modular system has you covered!
Built specifically for 10mm COB LED strips (as seen in the pictures). Note: If you need other sizes for wider or narrower strips, just drop a request in the comments and I can add them!
How It Works
The rails snap-fit securely into mounting arms that you can place anywhere on your Multiboard grid—both horizontally and vertically—using the included corner pieces. You can position the mounting arms right over the joints to support the rails and hide the seam between two sections, or use the standalone low-profile clips to connect rails seamlessly.
Included Components
- Mounting Arms (90mm extension): Connects to your Multiboard via a large threaded bolt and features an alignment peg on the back to keep everything dead straight. Includes both a large and medium size peg on the back to help fit where needed.
- Rails: Standard straight profiles available in 100mm, 200mm, and 300mm lengths (perfectly synchronized with the 25mm Multiboard grid spacing).
- Wall Corners (90°): Route your LED strip flat against the wall around the edges of your board, just like a picture frame.
- Flat Corners (90°): For routing the LED strip around physical room corners or outward-facing bends.
- Splice Clips: Available in various sizes to securely connect two rail sections together without using a mounting arm.
- End Caps: Provides a clean, professional finish to hide and protect the cut ends of your LED strip.
Recommended Print Settings
Supports: No supports required (Print rails, clips, corners, and end caps flat on the build plate. Print mounting arms lying flat on their side for maximum cantilever strength).
Material: PETG or PLA (PETG is strongly recommended for clips and arms to get the best flex and durability for the snap-fit mechanism)
Layer Height: 0.2 mm.
Walls/Perimeters: 3–4 walls for extra strength on the mounting arms.
Infill: 15–20% Gyroid or Grid.
