Description
I was tasked by my wife to create a cable protector for teacher's Goody Bags over the summer. I found this awesome Pencil Bow Straw topper model created by @HexForge3d and designed a derivative converting it into a usb cable protector.
The .3MF file contains two versions. One where the base is all black and another where the base shares the same color as the ribbon. It leverages 6 colors. Obviously you can use any colors you like and reduce the number of colors based on your current printer's capabilities. Below are the colors I used (all Bambu Lab PLA)
- Black for the border and pencil lead
- Any color for the bow (this color can be changed by selecting the object's primary filament for the base color version, the black base version will require you to use the paint tool to paint the bow color)
- Gold for the pencil
- Silver for the ferrule
- Sakura Pink for the eraser
- Desert Tan for the pencil tip
Recommended Settings
- PLA recommended
- 0.16 mm layer height
- 15–20% infill
- Arachne Wall Generator
- Ironing on Top Surfaces / Rectilinear / 25% / 20 mm/s
- No supports required
