ArcSpin Flux is a compact print‑in‑place mechanism built around multiple independent modes of motion.
The geometry combines orthogonal rotation segments, a free‑moving inner ring, and defined tactile surfaces into a single functional object.
🌀 Multi‑Axis Structure
ArcSpin Flux integrates four distinct mechanical behaviors:
- Orthogonal Rotation Segments Half‑ and three‑quarter circles rotate at 90° offset. This creates a controlled gyroscopic motion with predictable axis alignment.
- Free‑Spin Inner Ring The central ring rotates without a fixed axis. It can move in any direction and acts as the primary spin element.
- Finger‑Orbit Interaction The outer geometry allows the object to be placed over a finger, enabling full‑body rotation independent of the inner ring.
Tactile Domes Smooth hemispheres provide defined contact points for grip, micro‑movements, and controlled haptic feedback.
