Overview

St. Jude joins the Pocket Saints Collection as a flat, two-color devotional keychain designed for clean FDM printing.

This keychain is made for keys, backpacks, zipper pulls, rosary bags, or anywhere you want a small reminder of faith, hope, and perseverance.

The model measures approximately 55 mm at its longest point and is 3 mm thick, keeping it compact while still allowing the raised details to print clearly.

History of the Object

Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the Twelve Apostles and is widely known as the patron saint of difficult and seemingly hopeless causes.

He is traditionally shown holding an image of Jesus near his chest and may also be depicted with a staff or flame above his head. This version is a simplified 3D-printable keychain interpretation designed to keep the important details recognizable while remaining practical to print.

Supports & Removal Notes

• Supports: Not needed when printed flat.
• Print orientation: Lay flat on the build plate.
• Size: Approximately 55 mm at its longest point.
• Thickness: 3 mm thick.
• Color style: Designed for a two-color raised-detail print.
• Nozzle: A 0.4 mm nozzle should work well, while a 0.2 mm nozzle may capture finer details.
• Build plate: A smooth build plate can provide a cleaner front surface.

Be careful when removing the print, especially around the top keychain loop, staff, medallion, hands, and small raised details. Slow removal is much easier than explaining why St. Jude suddenly needs help with a broken keychain loop.

Important Notes

• This is a decorative keychain, not a load-bearing clip or tool.
• Not intended for pets or young children.
• If scaled smaller, the face, medallion, staff, and clothing details may lose definition.
• If scaled larger, check the keyring hole size before printing.
• For better durability, use enough top and bottom layers and avoid weak settings around the keychain loop.
