Description

Fast print. No assembly. Ready to use.

I tested some of the existing printable wire stripper designs, but they weren’t quite right for me. I found that some were not durable enough for repeated use, while sharp edges around the wire holes created unnecessary friction and made longer cables harder to pull through.

So I designed my own version.

This wire stripper has a stronger, more solid body and large chamfers around the wire guides. The smooth entries help guide the cable into the correct hole and reduce resistance when pulling longer lengths through the tool.

V1 – Manual Blade Version

This is the first version of the design. Simply select the guide that best fits your cable, position your utility knife in the slot above it, and pull the cable through.

V1 is intentionally kept simple:

  • Fast to print (50g - 1,5 hour)
  • No assembly
  • No supports
  • Ready to use straight from the build plate
  • Large chamfers for smoother cable feeding
  • Multiple cable sizes in one tool

V2 is already in development

V2 will feature a fixed and replaceable blade system, freeing both hands for pulling longer lengths of cable.

Requests are welcome!

Need a different wire size or shape?

Round, flat, or something else — leave a comment with the dimensions and cable shape, and I’ll be happy to look at adding it.

Feedback from V1 will also help shape the development of V2.
