Every component — base plate, raised text, emoji, and hole geometry, is generated through a synchronized parametric system. Adjust any parameter and the entire model updates instantly with clean geometry and reliable printability.

✏️ Custom Text & Fonts

Enter any name, word, or short label. Supports 8000+ system fonts, including script, bold, playful, serif, sans‑serif, and decorative styles. Perfect for kids’ names, classroom sets, party favors, or personalized gifts.

The generator uses textmetrics() to calculate the exact name width, ensuring the emoji is placed perfectly every time.

📏 Base Plate & Text Layers

• Base thickness
• Raised text height
• Border size around the name The topper uses a clean two‑layer structure:
• Layer 1: Base plate
• Layer 2: Raised text + emoji

🕳️ Hole Geometry

Fully customizable hole for pencils, straws, cords, or drawstrings:

• Hole diameter
• Hole angle (0° front‑to‑back, 90° left‑to‑right)
• X/Y offsets for perfect centering
• Z‑height to cut through base only or through raised text

The hole is applied using a difference() operation, ensuring it cuts through both the base and the raised text/emoji cleanly.

⚙️ Automated Parametric Structure

The generator uses a modular architecture:

• Base plate extruded from the text outline
• Raised text and emoji rendered with precise alignment
• Hole cut through the entire model
• Emoji positioned using exact text width
• Smooth circles using $fn = 64

This ensures perfect centering, clean geometry, and no manual adjustments.

💡 Printing Tips

• Supports Required 
• Infill: 15–20% Gyroid or Cubic
• Walls: 3–4 perimeters for strength
• Top Surface: Ironing recommended for a smooth finish

🖨️ Print Settings (Easy to Read)

🧵 Material - PLA, PETG, Matte PLA (matte colors give a premium clean look)

🧱 Infill - 15%–20% Gyroid or Cubic

🧱 Walls - 3–4 walls for durability

✨ Top Surface Finish - Enable ironing on the raised text layer for a smooth, professional finish.

🎨 Color Swap (Manual Multicolor)

If you don’t have an AMS, this model prints perfectly with a simple manual filament swap. Add a pause at the layer where the first color layer ends, change filament, resume printing.
