Hydraulic Fittings 1/2'' Male NPT→ Hoses Ø 4–24 mm
Print Profile(12)

Description
Hydraulic Fittings 1/2'' Male NPT → Hoses Ø 4–24 mm
The project was prepared with multi-profile files + separate single models for each diameter
The indicated measurement refers to the internal diameter of the hose to be connected, so you can:
- print all fittings in a single print
- print only what you need
- avoid manual modifications to the plate
- quickly choose the most suitable diameter for your hose
Set composed of 3D Printed 1/2'' male NPT hose barb fittings, designed to connect hoses of various diameters to components, adapters, pumps, tanks, or systems that use NPT threads
The NPT thread, National Pipe Taper, is an American standard widely used in hydraulic, pneumatic fittings, and technical components of USA origin or compatible with American standards
Unlike GAS/BSP threads, NPT threads are tapered and not interchangeable with BSP/GAS. Before printing and use, always verify that the component onto which the fitting will be mounted is indeed 1/2'' NPT
The package includes the following measurements referring to the internal diameters of the hose to be connected:
Ø4 mm
Ø6 mm
Ø8 mm
Ø10 mm
Ø12 mm
Ø14 mm
Ø16 mm
Ø18 mm
Ø20 mm
Ø22 mm
Ø24 mm
Ideal for:
- water or air hose connections
- irrigation systems
- workshop and DIY
- tests and prototypes
- quick adaptations on existing systems
- small experimental or temporary systems
✔ 1/2'' male NPT thread
✔ American National Pipe Taper standard
✔ Complete set with hose diameters from Ø4 to Ø24 mm
✔ Multiple files for single or complete printing
✔ Geometry optimized for FDM printing
✔ Simple, compact, and robust structure
✔ Useful for quick connections, tests, and adaptations
The hose insertion area is designed with spaced hose barb profiles, or barbs, intended to:
✔ improve grip on the hose
✔ reduce the risk of slipping
✔ allow correct tightening of the clamp, which can work between the teeth without deforming the fitting
This geometry allows for a more secure and stable fastening even with soft hoses
⚠️ Printing Notes
To improve bed adhesion, I added small supports to the base of the model
✔ They are needed because the contact surface is small
✔ If the print bed is not perfectly clean, the part might detach
👉 The supports are not structural, so you can remove them or disable them if you have good adhesion, for example with a clean bed, glue, PEI, or well-calibrated settings
⚠️ Warning
Not suitable for high pressure, hot water, gas, fuels, or critical systems
To improve sealing, the use of PTFE tape, Teflon, or a suitable thread sealant is recommended when necessary
Remember that NPT threads are tapered: during screwing, the tightening gradually becomes stronger. Do not over-tighten to avoid damage to the printed fitting or the component onto which it is mounted
