Thanks for your support!

Prevent your window from accidentally slamming shut due to wind or drafts. Unlike other window stops, this design features an eccentric clamp mechanism. Simply flip the lever up to securely clamp the stop to the windowsill, then fold it down to release the tension. Thanks to its low-profile design of just 24 mm when folded, it can remain on the windowsill even when the window is closed, so it's always ready for your next ventilation.

Features

  • Quick and easy to use
    • Place the stop on the windowsill and open the window.
    • Flip the lever up to clamp it securely in place. The model now prevents the window from closing while it's being ventilated.
    • After ventilating: Fold the lever down again to release the tension. Then you can close the window.

    • The eccentric clamp mechanism securely locks the stop to the windowsill with a simple flip of the lever.
    • No screws, adhesives, or permanent installation required.

Dimensions

  • Dimension A: Windowsill thickness (For maximum holding power, the window stopper should fit onto the windowsill with as little play as possible)
  • Dimension B: Lower depth (Reduce only when space is limited)
  • Dimension C: Lower frame thickness (Reduce only when space is limited)
  • Dimension D: Window height (Adjust it so that the flap extends slightly beyond the window seal. See photos

Print profiles

There are 4 predefined profiles available for the following windowsill thicknesses:

 

Dimension A:

  • 19mm
  • 20mm
  • 25mm
  • 30mm

All profiles have the following other dimensions:

  • Dimension C = 12mm
  • Dimension B = 30mm
  • Dimension D = 50mm

  • 6 walls
  • 25% infill

Filament:

The model was tested using PETG Basic from Bambulab. With this filament, the model does not lose its tensile strength even after being clamped continuously for 24 hours. In general, you should not print the model with PLA due to sunlight exposure near windows.
