Print Profile(1)

Description
Arbor
This object continues the exploration of forms derived from the geometry of the Tessara tetrahedral lattice.
Unlike previous models in the series, this design intentionally embraces the layered nature of FDM printing. Rather than hiding the print layers, the geometry, layer height, and filament color are all chosen to emphasize them, allowing light to play across the ribbed surface and making the printing process itself part of the object's appearance.
The model is available in two variations.
The smaller version works as a compact desk object or fidget, inviting you to pick it up and explore its shape.
The larger version incorporates an integrated loop, allowing it to be used as a keychain or as a decorative connector for lightweight accessories. Its multiple openings also evoke the form of a stylized carabiner, providing several attachment points for cords, straps, or small hanging objects.
Although the structure is surprisingly rigid for its weight, it is intended for decorative use only and should not be relied upon to support heavy loads or critical applications.
Like the rest of the Tessara series, Arbor explores how a simple geometric lattice can give rise to forms that are both structural and sculptural—where the manufacturing process becomes part of the design language rather than something to conceal.
