Customizable Bolt/Nut Cap

Description
Overview:
The original caps covering exposed bolt threads and nut under our patio table were beginning to crack and fall off. I made a design that should be able to fit most situations by adjusting the parameters in the Fusion 360 file which I’ve included.
If covering a nut and bolt, measure from flat side to flat side on the nut and enter that for Cap_w. If only covering the bolt, measure the bolt threads’ outside diameter. You can also adjust the interior height of the cap to allow for the length of exposed threads as well as the thickness of the cap. The “clearance” parameter can be used to fine tune the fit. I recommend setting this to 0 if printing in TPU for a snug fit.
Printing:
I recommend printing these in TPU for a tighter fit or maybe ASA if needed for outdoor use. I printed mine in black ASA which do not match the table as well but good enough for now. No supports required if printed in the orientation shown.
