Description
Overview:
When changing the oil for certain equipment, the oil fill hole can be too small for my funnels. In particular, the snowblower for our tractor has a very small fill hole on the gearbox. I designed this tip to tightly fit over the tubing of my funnel. This tip snugly fits into the gearbox fill hole and allows me to fill the gearbox without a struggle or mess.
I’ve included my fully parametric Fusion 360 file and step files, so you can modify the parameters to suit your needs. I recommend using TPU without any clearance. For example, if the outer diameter (OD) of your funnel tubing is 0.5”, I would enter that into this file and not try to make it 0.505”.
Printing:
I recommend printing the tip in TPU as it will fit more snugly onto the funnel and provide a little flex if you need to bend it. No supports required if printed in the orientation shown.
