Light up your room and travel to the stars with this beautiful Rocket-Space Lamp! Designed to bring the magic of the cosmos into any space, this lithophane-style rocket projects a warm, cozy galaxy of stars, moons, and planets when illuminated.
Whether it's for a kid's bedroom, a sci-fi lover, or just to add a unique touch to your desk, this rocket is the perfect blend of 3D printing and functional art.

Print Settings & Support Advice

  • Supports Recommended: Due to the detailed lithophane style and the large number of star and planet cutouts on the rocket body, generating supports will yield the best possible finish.
  • Post-Processing Tip: Cleaning and removing the supports from all the small holes requires some patience and manual work, but the final aesthetic result is definitely worth the effort!
  • Print at Your Own Risk (Supportless): You can try to print the rocket body completely without supports to save time and material, but a perfect result cannot be guaranteed due to the challenging overhangs of the custom shapes.
  • Two-Part Design: The project is divided into the main rocket body and a stable launch-fin base for an easier printing process and assembly.


Compatibility
This design is specifically tailored and optimized to be compatible with the Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001.
 

⚠️ Important: Please use LED lights only (like the recommended Bambu Lab kit). Traditional incandescent bulbs generate too much heat and could warp or melt the 3D-printed plastic.
 

Assembly Overview
1. Print the parts: Print one Rocket Body (with your preferred support settings) and one Launch Base.
2. Clean the model: Carefully remove all the support material from the rocket's star and planet windows.
3. Insert the light: Place your Bambu Lab LED Lamp Kit 001 into the recessed area of the base.
4. Assemble: Route the power cord through the dedicated slot at the bottom of the base, and simply place the rocket body on top.
