This is a 1:150 scale Boeing 737 MAX 8 model. Assembly requires glue. I found that using a combination of super glue for the internal structure and UV-curable glue for the exterior parts produces the best results. Assembly instructions can be found at the bottom of the description.

I flew on an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 last year, though the experience was debatable because they swapped the 737-900 with winglets—the aircraft I originally booked and actually wanted to fly—for a MAX 9. It might sound like an upgrade, but the interior wasn't exactly in the greatest condition (the leather on many of the seats was already cracked), thanks to the wonderful maintenance standards of U.S. airlines. I decided to make a MAX 8 instead because there are simply more resources and references available for it.

I included two print profiles:

  • Blank: A single-color version of the model. You can paint it yourself or apply any decals you like.
  • Lion Air: The only difference is that the engines have an orange (more red than orange to my eyes) color. I also attached a PDF file, which contains a livery of Lion Air and includes three different sizes, since print settings may affect the final dimensions. I recommend referencing photos of a real Lion Air 737 MAX 8 to determine the most accurate decal size for your print. Registration number PK-LQP is enclosed in a black box, due to the catastrophic accident. RIP to all victims, and hope all airplane manufacturers will do the right thing in the future.
