Customizable Sofa Foot

This is two part foot for a sofa containging a strong core and a weaker but decorative outer shell.

The centre core should be printed in a strong material, ASA or PETG. It is also recommended to print on it's side so that the direction of the filament layering is not parellel to the gorund and therefore strongest. And print with the flat edge facing down so that any unclean support edges don't interfere with the thread. This orientation 

The shell can be printed out of anything as it's not load bearing. We have use wood PLA and silk PLA as per the photos. I'd recommend printing face down first.

To use, screw the core into sofa's wooden base and screw the shell over the cores threeaded centre.

Two lenghts are provided,  a standard 80mm high foot and a longer 120mm high foot that should allow a robot hoover to pass under.

A fuzze skin option for the shell of each is also provided. This can be seen in the wood PLA photo.
