Description
StorTrac – Modular Ledge-Mounted Storage System
If your workspace is anything like mine, tools have a way of piling up exactly where you don’t want them. StorTrac was designed to solve that problem with a clean, modular storage system that mounts directly to almost any shelf or ledge, keeping your most-used tools organized, accessible, and off your work surface.
The system is built around a sturdy track that accepts interchangeable carts. Instead of designing one storage solution for every tool, StorTrac lets you swap in the holders you need and expand your setup as your workspace evolves.
The track is designed to be mounted with screws for the most secure, permanent installation, making it ideal for workshops, garages, and 3D printing setups. If you don’t want to drill into your furniture, it can also be mounted with Command Strips or another strong adhesive, depending on the weight of the tools you plan to store.

One of the main goals of StorTrac is customization. That’s why I’ve included the cart base file, allowing you to design holders specifically for your own tools and workflow. Whether you need a screwdriver holder, caliper mount, scraper rack, glue holder, or something completely unique, you can build it using the included base.
This is only the beginning of the StorTrac ecosystem. I’ll continue designing and uploading new carts and accessories, so your storage system can grow over time without needing to redesign or replace the track.
