Little Flexi Worm

"Sometimes the simplest little critters are the most fun to fidget with."

Little Flexi Worm is a small articulated worm that's perfect as a desk toy, stocking stuffer, or quick print. Its simple design makes it fun to pose, wiggle, and display, while the expressive face gives it plenty of personality.

Whether you're looking for a fast print, a cute little fidget, or just something fun to add to your collection, Little Flexi Worm is an easy project with only a couple of minor quirks.

Design Process

This model was created using a hybrid workflow of AI-assisted generation and traditional 3D modeling.

I began by creating an original 2D concept, then used Meshy to generate multiple 3D interpretations of the character. After reviewing several variations, I selected the strongest base model and refined it in Blender to improve the articulation, clean up geometry, and optimize it for FDM printing.

Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.20 mm
  • Infill: 5% Gyroid
  • Supports: Tree Supports (required)
  • AMS Required: Yes

Filaments Used

  • eSUN Pink PLA
  • Anycubic PLA+ Black
  • Anycubic PLA+ White

Post-Processing Notes

The supports are very minimal. Because the head sits slightly above the build plate, a small support is generated underneath it. I originally intended to redesign that area but ultimately decided to leave it as-is since the support removes easily.

A tiny support may also form inside the first articulation joint. Simply flex the joint a few times after printing and the support will usually pop loose and fall right out.

License / Usage Terms

Unlike many of my other models, this one is released under a fully free license.

You're welcome to print it, share it, remix it, and use it however you'd like. If you enjoy the model, I'd still appreciate a boost, like, download, or photo of your print—it helps support future designs.
