Description

Building my painting and model working corner. After some research I didn't find any Paint Shelving/rack I liked so I decided to project my own. Result completely meets my needs and I really like it. So maybe I will be not the only one.

About this Paint Shelving unit:
First and as I thing one of most important part is - It is modular, easy to assemble and You can build it as large you want in any direction. Only parts You can't go from is Bottom and Top as at the moment I haven't made stackable on direction away from Paint Shelves. For Bottom part I will add that option a bit later.

Sections are easy to put together using H shape Pins. Some sections can be made stronger bond using a thin Square Pins (but that just if You really want to made it a bit more rigid). Attaching to the wall is easy with a screws. For this purpose There are screw holes on Top Shelf and Bottom Sections. Or if you don't want to put a top shelf on you can use a ScrewHole PIN on top Paint Shelf section. If Your variant is not using more than 3 Paint Shelf sections it should be enough. But if You are building quite a big shelving, for this reason I have added a Paint Shelf sections with a screw hole, so You can put those sections in a place You think you need an extra strengthening.

Section Dimensions are: (W x H x D)

Bottom Shelf - 170mm x 161.5 x 53mm (made for standard Valejo 200ml bottles)
Paint Shelf - 170mm x 169mm x 37mm
Top Shelf - 170mm x 28.5mm x 39mm

Sidewall width of Left and Right sections is 26mm
Back and Side walls are 2.5mm thick. Others are 2mm Thick. Maybe a bit overkill, but I like sturdy things and it looks like even easier to print than thin and quite high parts.

Ok, and here some TIPS on PRINTING all this out:
No supports needed except for Top Shelf section. And using supports I highly recommend to use a support drawing method in slicer to remove supports from thin holes used for them Square Pins if you want to use them.

Print Paint Shelf sections Lying on the side.

p.s.
Not a cheapest one for printing. One section takes around 200g-215g of filament. So be aware of that!

Thanks. This one fits my needs well. No it is not designed for HSW wall. I have it mounted to the wall by screws (in holes provided) on side of my HSW wall. In my case it is narrow and high, but it is designed that it can be as wide and high you need. p.s. You can check my second version of wall Paint Rack. Bit more complicated but more economical to print.
