Simple Ribbed Storage Container

Hello again! I am continuing my 3D design journey, and for this project, I really wanted to figure out how to design smooth, functional screw threads in CAD.

This is just a simple, handy storage container to keep your small stuff inside—nothing too crazy, but very useful for desk clutter, spare screws, or random trinkets! I added a ribbed texture to the outside so it has a nice grip when twisting the lid on and off. Getting the tolerances right so the lid screws on nicely was a fun learning experience for me.

• Functional Threads: Smoothly twist the lid on and off.
• Ribbed Grip: The textured exterior makes it easy to open and close.
• Support-Free: Designed to print completely flat with no supports needed.

• Print Time: ~2h 45m
• Filament Usage: ~50.56g (16.68m)
• Supports: NONE! * Material: PLA Matte or PETG (Matte filament really highlights the ribbed texture and hides the layer lines!)
• Wall Loops: 2–3 walls.
