Parametric Window Magnet
Print Profile(1)

Description
Cleaning windows today and I noticed that a bunch of my window magnets have deteriorated from the sun. Such a waste to replace the whole thing, the metal plates and magnets are still good. So I did what any normal 3D printer owner would do: I modelled a replacement that uses the magnet and metal plates! I also put some effort into making this model parametric! This is my first!
Pop in your parameters, make sure you add a “pause” to the print just before the top of the model gets printed so you can add the magnet plate sandwich.
The parametric model has a “SpaceTolerance” variable. A setting of 0.2mm is very tight, I would not suggest going below this. A setting of 1mm is very loose, so stay below that.
Finally, make sure the sandwich is pushed all the way down before restarting the print job.
Use pan head screws to fix them back into place.
That's about it! Happy reusing!
