Boost Me (for free)

I develop practical 3D designs at the intersection of software, hardware, prototyping, and modern manufacturing. My models are designed for clear function, clean construction, modularity, and good reproducibility. If you like my work, I would appreciate a free boost. This directly supports the further development of new designs, technical solutions, and documented projects.

Recycling Codes

This 3D print profile contains print-ready recycling code models in .3mf format. The symbols indicate what material a package or object is made from, helping to better identify, sort, and later more effectively recycle materials.

My goal is to provide all future MakerWorld projects with appropriate material and recycling symbols. This way, used materials will remain permanently visible, later sorting will be simplified, and a more conscious approach to recycling in the maker community will be supported.

The 3D printed symbols are particularly suitable for collection boxes, workshop organization, recycling stations, education, maker projects, or labels with a tactile surface. The models can be printed individually and then glued on or directly integrated.

Included are recycling codes for plastics, paper/cardboard, metals, and natural materials, among others: 01 PET, 02 PE-HD, 03 PVC, 04 PE-LD, 05 PP, 06 PS, 07 Other, PET-G, ABS, 20 PAP, 21 PAP, 22 PAP, 40 FE, 41 Aluminium, 50 FOR Wood, 51 FOR Cork, and PLA. For plastic products, ISO 11469 describes a system for uniform material identification, which is intended to support later decisions regarding treatment, recovery, or disposal. Linked Laser and Cutting Profile

This 3D print profile is linked to the corresponding laser and cutting profile. While this profile offers robust, raised, and tactile markings in .3mf/.Obj format, the matching laser and cutting profile contains flat SVG templates for engraving, cutting, and labeling signs (See Documentation). Those who need 3D printed, tangible recycling symbols should use this 3D print profile. Those looking for flat signs, engravings, or cutting templates will find the appropriate version in the linked laser and cutting profile.

Note

The recycling codes describe the material used. Whether a product can actually be recycled depends on regional disposal rules and the specific material composition.

Usage Notes

Please check dimensions, tolerances, material choice, and print settings for your specific use case before printing. Minor adjustments may be necessary depending on the printer, filament, slicer profile, and intended use.

If a bill of materials is included, it should facilitate the reproducibility of the model. The specified materials, filaments, or Maker’s Supply parts are to be understood as practical recommendations. Some sets may contain more parts than needed for a single model.

Supplemental Technical Files

For selected projects, I provide supplementary development files on GitHub, such as Gerber files, schematics, PCB layouts, firmware, software code, and technical documentation.

Feedback, make pictures, ratings, and constructive suggestions for improvement are explicitly welcome. They help to further improve the models and document them even more helpfully for other users.

Thank you for your support and good luck with printing, building, and further development.
